The Fenton Fire Fighter Community Outreach (FFFCO) is a 501c (3) non profit organization that was established as a way for the fire fighters and paramedics of the Fenton Fire Protection District to give back to the community we serve. Our charity golf tournament has been held annually since 1996 and has donated over $100,000 dollars to local charities including Back Stoppers Inc, The Dream Factory and Responder Rescue. Several other organizations the Community Outreach as supported also include Be the Match, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Caring Bridge and Oasis reading program. We also provide a $500 annual scholarship to a student at Rockwood Summit High School pursuing a career in fire or emergency medical services. In 2013 we began a partnership with The St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary to raise funds for the St. Clare Breast Cancer Center. Donations to the “Auxiliary” are raised each year from the sale of “pink” breast cancer awareness t-shirts. Look for your fire fighters and paramedics to be uniformed in pink every October. Since the inception of this great partnership we have donated approximately $7500 to the St. Clare Auxiliary. We are always looking for ways to increase shirt sales and donations and would welcome your support. You may also see us in the community building handicap ramps for needy citizens or shopping at Christmas time for families we adopt. We take pride in serving our community and will continue to look for ways to give back.
